Wings over Haiti Fundraiser

This will be the 3rd annual event of its kind, set to kick off at 5 pm on the 22nd of June, at the East Hampton Airport. Attendees will get to enjoy live music entertainment from several artists including Solar Wind, Dee Green, Matt Ellison, and Rick Salter. There will also be a raffle where prices will include airplane tours, fine dining, boxing lessons, yoga classes, spa tickets, art studio tours, and much more. Further, wines and spirits will be at your disposal at the venue, all donated by several local producers. Tickets to the event are going for only $125 and all proceeds go to the Wings over Haiti charity fund. You will, therefore, be kicking off summer with a bang here while simultaneously contributing to a worthy cause.

Community Yoga at House of Wellness

Yes, yes, we know we’re a little late to the party if the goal is to get the perfect beach body. However, let’s not forget that summer is a three-month affair and, if we begin now, we may just be able to get that beach body before the season comes to an end in September. Community Yoga sessions will take place on the 21st and the 28th of June, between 6 pm and 7 pm on both days at the House of Wellness, Springfield Road. Entry is only $10 per head and all you have to do is bring a yoga mat and comfortable clothing. As an added incentive, all proceeds are donated to a local non-profit organization, the Ecological Culture Initiative, which promotes ecological responsibility.

June 2019 Group Singing Class

The Group Singing classes kick off on the 3rd of June at the Southampton Arts Center, proceeding on select days throughout the month, and coming to a close on the 27th of June. Each class kicks off at 5 pm and ends at 8 pm and, if you are passionate about singing, you don’t want to miss a single session because your vocal coach will be award-winning vocalist, Valerie diLorenzo. Here, you will get to learn basic singing techniques, whether you are looking to be a soloist or blend in with a group. You will learn how to expand your vocal range and emotion, gain breath control, learn how to address performance anxiety, and how to take care of your vocal cords. Each attendee will also receive one-on-one coaching during each class to guarantee that their unique needs have been addressed.

21st Ann Liguori Foundation Charity Golf

Head over to the Westhampton Country Club along Potunk Lane on the 20th of June between 11 am and 10 pm. This annual tournament is held to raise money for cancer research and promote awareness and prevention in the Hamptons and beyond. Every year, this charitable event donates the proceeds raised to several non-profit organizations including Kids Need More, the St. Jude Research Hospital, the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, and many more. Registration begins at 11 am at the Westhampton Country Club, lunch will be served at 1 pm, a Short Gun competition will take place at 5 pm, and dinner plus a live auction will take place shortly after that.

St. Barth Hamptons 2019

This event doesn’t take place in June, but it definitely deserves an honorary mention. Make your way to the Bridgehampton Museum on the 20th of July from 6 pm and enjoy an unforgettable evening at the 8th St. Barth’s Gala. Here you will get to dance the night away to the sounds of the prominent DJ Lee Kalt in a beautiful, elegant, lush field. Fill up your glass with champagne and sample the gourmet tastings at this classy event. Tickets to this event range between $150 and $200 per head.

Parenting Book Club

The Parenting Book Club will be meeting on the 19th of June from 10 am to 11 am at the Jermain Memorial Library along Main Street Sag Harbor. The purpose of the book club meeting will be to discuss Richard Louv’s book ‘Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature Deficit Disorder’. The event is tailored for parents and caregivers such as teachers who would like to discuss parenting in a judgment-free environment. It doesn’t matter if you have read the entire book (although it would be ideal) as long as you have a basic understanding of its content.

Polo Hamptons

Visit the Southampton Hunt and Polo Club along Lumber Lane between 4 pm and 7 pm on the 29th of June. Here attendees will get to enjoy polo matches and access to hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, and preferred seating. Although complimentary parking is available, we suggest contracting the services of a reputable car service, especially for your ride back home. Only 500 tickets are available, so purchase yours today to avoid missing a spot. Tickets range anywhere between $175 and $360.
